and that's not even the only example, we've had tons of new evolution methods over the years. you would be making the exact same posts about why cosmog can't evolve or why galarian linoone won't have a new evolution. or about why mega evolution can't happen because we had 5 gens with no similar equivalent. patterns don't mean shit to game freak, get used to it.
