Gen 5 looks weird as well with the long pixel chibis and the pixelated sprites but the art direction is still better than Gen 6

no, that'd be gen 1
or if we're giving gen 1 a pass for being made on a shoestring budget, then it's probably gen 3
gen 6 still looks pretty good if you are playing it on actual hardware and not emulating it

Not a fake, but I always liked this old "fangame" (it was mostly mockups done in photoshop) since it came after B&W and before XY, since it looked 3D enough it was pretty cool.

Gen IV doesn't look at that great, particularly when it comes how thing sin the overworld get pixelated when they're far away. But when it comes to the battles gen V is atrocious and in a league on its own.

Weren’t people here trying to prove that the leaked Hawlucha images were fake because it showed Hawlucha at two different angles and his amount of back feathers being different despite the fact it was clearly because his body was covering a few at different angles? I remember people being really adamant that Hawlucha had to been a fake over those back feathers
