Literally all of them have updated models. Charizard/Persian/Mewtwo are just more updated than others.

The Flying-types would probably be a good place to start looking through since I think they did away with the Sky Battle poses, hence Charizard standing.

They didn't, it's just context-specific. They'll stand or fly depending on where the battle is taking place.

They did improve some of the shittier flying animations. Salamence actually flaps its wings now.

It also leans inwards and off to the side, more like a battle ready stance. Dragonites got a lean to it too, adds a bit to break up the stiffness.

Those poses always existed, they were just used for Pokemon-Amie/Refresh/Camp instead of in-battle.

No they were not lol. They lean differently and their wings flap at a different rate. They are new animations.

They also gave flying animations to some Pokemon that didn’t have them before. Hawlucha has a flying animation now.
