Every VGC player has played and practiced on showdown. Japanese National champ Kaito Arii was rank 4 or 5 on reg d ladder

No official rule against Showdown. Showdown has existed for over a decade. If it was against the rules to use it would be shut down by now. Everyone who plays VGC in every country has used showdown for practice.

Actually it was back in 2014 when he pulled up with a shitty evasion spam team, was destroyed R1 and he left without dropping so he was given forfeits for the rest of day one making him 0-5. Even more embarrassing.

Quite a few at least have video proof of them being on the Showdown website using the team builder, and using the damage calculator during online battles like Cybertron Zang. I stopped watching Wolfy when he devolved into spamming nothing but clickbait thumbnails and titles so I don't remember if he has videos showing him using Showdown too.
