Eiscue grew on me and I don’t really know how. It’s such a stupid pokemon design but it’s kinda why I like it now. I’ve started to grow a fondness of stupid design pokemon.

That design can't win. You get some saying "Just a dumb penguin it's just an animal" then the other half being all "Stupid icecube head dumb gimmic"

It sadly can't win with either side of the Pokemon design critics

Something I’ve learned over the years and I wish people would adopt this mindset is developing an appreciation for a pokemon not based on it’s design but what it can do in battle. What really made me like Eiscue was it’s Ice Face ability and made me realize a pokemon is more than just’s its look. Like competitive is full of Heatrans and Landrous but Im sure a good amount of people started to genuinely like those pokemon after using them so much
