Ultra sun was competent but redundant. I pirated it. skipped LGP and SWSH. I enjoyed legends arceus quite a bit once it got going, thats the one decent game on this list. Violet was like the "junk food versus gourmet meal argument". Junk food can be enjoyable. Riding the motorcycle around, picking up TMs. Being able to do whatver I wanted in any order was good for adults like us who want to play pokemon without having our hand held the whole time. Its hard to objectively rate pokemon games because they bring me joy despite being lackluster products.
ZELDA HOWEVER, I hate. I do not understand. The entire franchise is so lauded despite, or maybe because, it is babby's first action adventure game.
Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption 1, are so much greater than these two switch zelda games. Their open worlds, their NPC schedules. ANd those came out in 2011 or so.
Assassins creed 2 came out even earlier. Open World has been done to death so why does zelda get so much praise? im convinced zelda lovers dont play very many other games.
I'm not a fan of OoT but at least it was goundbreaking. Tears of the Kingdom is so stupid.
