I remember being around 10, had Nesticle and Megaman 2 on my family's PC. I was happily playing away in my own autistic little world when my stupid cousin who only just started studying IT at university said it was a virus and they had to wipe the computer because all of the files would be infected. I got yelled at so much by my Dad, saying that all his work was on there if he loses his job, the family would have to move out because they couldn't pay the mortgage and it'd all be my fault, all whiley cousin stood there shaking his head at me like some pious faggot.
I cried myself to sleep that night and it was the first time I ever thought about killing myself. Then, the next fucking day, I get home from school and my mom said everything was fine, my took the PC to the local repair place and they said there were no viruses and my emulator was clean.
My Dad didn't apologize until the night before I left home, and he never trusted my cousin on anything tech related again. Good thing, too, he dropped out of college after flunking hard. Still thinks he knows better than everyone else, though.
