You might be onto something OP. Obviously, with Game Freak's implementation, I'm sure only select Pokemon could be fused, such as Pikachu, Eevee, Lucario, the Gen 10 Starters, and due to being Game Freak's special boy, CHARIZARD.

Good looking fusions would be too much effort unless it's only a few that can do it. They're way to o lazy to make fusions for a lot of Pokémon, and even then the stats would be crazy. If fusion becomes a thing it should be a thing weaker mon do to stand a chance against much stronger ones.

GF could just take the designs from Infinite Fusion if they felt like it, right? Pretty sure they've already taken several fan designs, such as Palafin and Paradox Raikou. Or maybe not, since even if the fusion uses two Pokemon, it's technically a brand new design. I wonder how that would work, exactly.
