>>54301991There's no reason why it wouldn't happen in the Pokemon world, if even good-intentioned people are willing to drown the world, cause never-ending droughts or drop an nuclear bomb on their home region because they can't wait one day, then what's stopping actual evil people from starting a human-trafficking's ring (something that requires far less work than the previous mentioned plans and is more like to turn a profit).
Obviously the Pokemon world is presented as a near utopia so
if stuff like that happens it's definitely extremely rare, and Jasmine and most other Gym Leaders would probably defend themselves should worst come to worst, but it could happen.
