Jan's writing style in later chapter boils down to "what anime have I been watching recently? I'll just put elements of that into my game" which is why it feels like there's such a nosedive in writing. Not that the plot hadn't already gotten bad with how ridiculous and convoluted Terajuma was.
I've replayed Rejuv more than I care to admit, but with Chapter 15 being the most exhausting shit imaginable (even holding down X and knowing all the puzzle solutions, it took nearly an hour to get through the danganronpa shit in the Madame Moto run) that's probably going to end.
I can't see it getting better down the line now that we know where Jan's priorities lie
