if they make another legends game, a good plot for kanto or johto would be like, people treating pokemon in the past(pokemon in general, not just legendaries) like youkais and kamis. Stuff like Volcarona being treated like a solar deity in some cultures, but for other pokemon too

I guess Arceus alreayd kinda had the Noble pokemon, but that was like, specific members of a few species. And in that game pokemon in genral are more treated like monsters than anything else

Arceus is the only one with a straight up religion. There are other mons who are worshipped like Fug, Ho-Oh and Bellsprout, but I'm not too sure if they're religions.
