Something about SV character designs are off putting. For how atrocious SwSh was I didn't think the characters were bad looking. I really wanna know how the SV npcs are "full of life"

There are a lot of really good designs in SV.
Geeta certainly isn't one of them, though. She really does look like a robot.

Geeta is fine as a character design, but her outfit is too stilted and the gross SV artstyle does no favors. If she landed in an earlier gen and had an outfit swap she'd come across a lot better.

She is when not made to hold back her powerlevel, which the SV art director clearly did not. And Takeuchi is famous for being a lazy fuck and just approving the first draft and not giving a shit about what the artists do which explains why her design in FGO is like that.
It's crazy to think that the same person who designed Lusamine designed the abomination that is Geeta.

I think the SV designs were poorly received because they came right after SwSh and its sexy characters. People wanted more of that. It's impossible for me to forget when Japanese people cried on Twitter about SV's designs. For that reason there is little hentai of SV characters except for Iono. Nowadays the popular characters are those that generate hentai.
