Just beat Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon Emerald, and I'm about to play this game next. I wanted to give each handheld pokemon game a fair-ish shot save for patching trade evos I may or may not have given Platinum a cosmetic upgrade via patching beforehand so I could judge them for myself instead of parroting other opinions people have. My thoughts so far

I'm aware of the INFAMOUS level curve, but are there any other surprises, both good and bad, that I might not know in this game before I play it to completion?
