Baseball players do use them, to practice.
Just like many VGC players use showdown to practice,team build, etc.
Neither of which is bannable because those things are not used IN THE REAL GAME.
Also you wouldn't want to use a pitching machine in a real game anyway as it can't catch the ball, can't read signals, and has no way of stopping players from stealing bases because it can't move. Not to mention you would either need to program a set of pitches into it or change its pitch type each time manually.
Genning pokemon is nothing like a pitching machine in anyway, not even within your own logic that's founded on you having no idea what you are talking about, yes if you did try to replace your pitcher with a machine you'd have to forfeit, not because it gives you any advantages but you need so many players on a team in order to play.
Steroids/Genning allow players to obtain a body/team they would either need to spend an amount of time on working out/playing the game to achieve.
Steroids will also make you stronger then alot of players who put in the time anyway. Just like genning pokemon guarantees you the strongest most optimal pokemon possible.
They also have this other, teeny tiny detail in common.

Except when a baseball player gets caught there's shame and most fans will say "fuck that guy, he shouldn't play anymore"
But nobody gives a shit about vgc so if they are caught they just tweet a "oppsie I got caught, see ya next season and btw cheating should be allowed xD"
