Tyrogue would be such a fun pokemon to catch early in a run since you could just let it evolve at random without having to account for type since its evos are all the same type, but the only game that lets you get a tyrogue early is sword and shield because gamefreak are retarded faggots

I want to keep breeding a main element of the gameplay but change it to not be such cancer. I might put catchable Tyrogues in a late-game area though.

IIR in Crystal, the mystery egg species isn't determined until you actually recieve the eggs so you can save in front of the day care man, then soft reset after hatching until you get a Tyrogue (who is already one of the egg options)
