Honestly you could do a few food related ones easily based on Beverage Themed mons.

Keep just one of the drops, otherwise this is one of those abilities that are so good the mon that has it must be utter shit because otherwise it would be broken

Just one drop would make it pretty shit and detrimental. Removing the HP heal removes the trade-off that makes it an interesting ability to interact with.

Lowering special stats by 1 keeps it usable, but keeps it from overpowered since there'll be mons who'll be unphased by their special stats being altered.

Pokemon Prism actually has a move that works like that, iirc the way it works is that your HP is healed to max at the end of each turn for 3 turns, but at the end of the third turn you're guaranteed to fate, and you can't switch out.
