I just love this region, it’s my third favorite. It was what was newest when I first discovered Pokémon so it holds a special place in my heart.

I love the different parts of the region: the desert, volcano, islands, beach, caves, ocean floor, jungle, it’s all so cool.

Also think the Pokémon designs are overall excellent. Altaria is a top 5 Pokémon to me. And who can deny that this is one of the best starter trios?

The gen 3 gameboy games will always have the best aesthetic art style to me
