>>54339801I like Blastoise on its own, but I'm not too fond of it being the end of the squirtle line. Aside from the bare minimum of being a blue turtle, it throws away any design elements the previous designs were building off of. Squirtle's curly tail turns into a tuft of swirling clouds, and Wartortle gets a pair of wings to further that sky aesthetic. Then Blastoise completely throws it all away and goes for an entirely different motif.
