Improvement but the small event caps and no more OCIC stinks. Also they moved NAIC to New Orleans which also stinks. No northeast regional (NYC, Hartford, Boston) also is a bummer

Do the tourneys cover your flight and hotel costs? Otherwise this doesnt even seem worth it to fly out for the chance of 10 grand.

Official pokemon tournaments are meant to be just a hobby. Most of the competitors have day jobs, save for like Wolfe.

Im just saying most of the people going to these events likely arent going alone and are going with family or friends of some sort. You may already be sinking about a grand or so into travel costs and whatnot. So if youre not coming in first place these events are a loss to you.
