Did it? You can almost only catch kanto pokémon outside of unova ones. like 80% of the dex is a new version of a kanto mon. and the legendaries are still asian because america has no culture.

Actually, Gen 2 had your mom explain the Pokegear even if you told her you don't need it explained, and Gen 2 also just gives you an Onix that shits on Falkner and Bugsy for free, then a Machop that shits on Whitney for free. Or does it not count when you have to catch a really common local Pokemon to trade for it?
