Why are there SO many videos about how to "fix Gen 2"? That game was supposed to be a more traditional sequel. You can't just look at those games in isolation, you have to see them from when they were released. The Pokemon formula wasn't being pumped out yet. They wanted to give fans some new stuff along with the old stuff, some new surprise evo's alongside familiar faces.
It feels like so many people view those games with the same mentality as RSE or DPPt when it's closer to a sequel than your usual Pokemon game.
