I don't really know why they half-assed the fire pun by changing the name and just making them dress red but you can still see why they're called that.

>StarMore of a stretch but I think the 'Star' is meant to be more in the sense of someone important, someone who stands out, a celebrity. They're delinquents, who go around in a car with big fucking speakers on and want to draw attention to themselves, whose style is based on old bike and moped gangs from the heyday of rock and roll. It's not really stars in the space sense save for the leaders being named after constellations.
