Then during post production Sugimori actually went in and redid all 151 by himself for the official art(that did not affect the actual game content - the original sprites), revising things he didn't like and that became the basis for the standardized forms we know today >Sugimori: "All of the official art for Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green was based off of the dot drawings"
