>>54382233It seems they follow a trend lately that if the 2 stage pokemon is decent, useful and has a niche it still fills, it gets a variant.
Example:
Linoone - Good niche, extreme drum still works....variant, variant sucks...so evo.
Tentcruel, decent tanky mon actually that can fill a spot without much issue...variant.
Marowak, mediocre, but is mon of the niche mon of all time...variant.
If it's just bad or has been outclassed, it gets an evo.
Example: Primape, hits hard but has always been too frail and slow to use as other fighting mon have better stats or better move utility.
Bisharp, outclassed.
Farfetch'd is the same as Marowak.
But a big Diglett would make me much happier than Digglett with hair.
