I've beaten the game and I thought it was pretty good. I really liked the monster designs and animations. I also really liked the big bosses, they were really challenging.
If I had to critique something, the story is about pokemon level and the music is pretty generic. Only one track that I REALLY enjoyed.
As a neutral point the combat is really just pokemon adjacent. It's interesting how there are more attacking types than real "types" but its not too revolutionary. I enjoyed it being so familiar but I know that some people want more dramatic differences from their "pokeclones".
