>>54396738>>how exactly?>LegendariesSWSH's legendaries are postgame, are pretty much only talked about in a single legend you see once, and are part of an option side quest. SVs legendary is with you right from the start, gets upgraded with HMs, has its own story during Area Zero, and you even see development with it coming out of its shell. You also have to hunt for all the stakes to unlock the various Chinese legendaries.
>CapturesThe very fact you can see every single encounter on the overworld AND if they're shiny is already making it friendlier to the player. Combat is also faster to get into and out of even though you can't turn off animations in SV.
>MultiplayerUnion Circle allows the players to run around however they feel like instead of being locked into the Wild Area and only the Wild Area. It also doesn't flood you with a million badges at the corner every time you breathe.
>that's not much better than the game being a straight lineI don't care. The very fact I can run around without having my hand held and do whatever I want, run wherever I want, and catch whatever I want is already better than being strung along by the story. I did everything in reverse order because I felt like it. Yeah, not having it scaled sucks, but it's still impossible to overlevel the finales of the story fights because of diminishing returns unless you purposely raid for dozens of hours.
>not when Toby Fox is still there.Great thing I don't have a hate boner for Undertale man then. Tera Raid battle music is also awesome.
>nobody ever cared about story in pokemon gamesYeah, so when I actually do end up caring about it that's a plus on their end. SWSH's story is insufferable due to Hop alone just like how Hau ruined S&M's.
>all gens since the 3DS have had equally shit designsGreat, so hate them. I have things I dislike (
>>54396179) but I prefer a lot of them to gen 8's designs.
