Now, for the REASON KANTOOOOOOOOOO was made:
Gen 5: Charizard bridge
Gen 6: Gen 1 starters(Charizard got 2 mega forms, the only other one like that is Mewtwo)
Gen 7: Red and Gary show up, with Red being battleable w/ the gen 1 starters
Gen 8: Charizard was literally the only Gen 1 starter line available on launch, and the ace of the champion was a Charizard
There's probably something in Gen 9 but I've been so repulsed by what I've seen that I still haven't bought any of the Switch games, and I really don't want to play through Gen 9 to make my point.
