>>54406693I would argue that the additional touches are what makes it not as good, as it takes away from the simplicity of what Zigzagoon/Linoone are in being fairly basic animal designs that are propped up by their "___-line" being woven into every part of their design. That isn't to say the regionals are bad at all, as an adaptation that extends upon the originals without ruining them
until Obstagoon is exactly what a regional should be. Which is why they're both peak, but the original's brevity will always stand on top.
