A lot of people see bipedal and instantly assume furry, which I tend to disagree with.
To me, "furry" is something like Cinderace or Obstagoon. Literally an animal head on a human body.
Whereas something like a gnoll or werewolf are typically more beastial and less like a mascot costume.
Granted, furfags will literally fetishize anything, but I try not to let that stop me from enjoying a Pokemon's design.
As long as it doesn't literally resemble a fursuit/mascot costume, I'm typically fine.
