Idk for me collecting mons and enjoying the plot was always paramount gen 5 didn't hit me with the plot and the gen 4 dex just felt awkward and not so fun to collect
>inb4 national dex and dex cuts of later gens
National dex was never my favorite, i want to catch as many as possible organically while playing so dexcut and national dex never rly factored in much

Idk those two gens just never hit my preferences as hard as others

I had this DS as a kid but when I was playing New Super Mario Bros 8th world the one with the fucking crows I got so pissed about constantly dying that I have a retard moment and bite the corner of my screen as hard as I could and broke the pixels. It was a small dot at first but became like a quarter of the screen later.
I somehow lost it after that I'm still bumbed out just like I somehow lost my 2005 Mario kart game which was my first game I ever got. I'm still pissed about my biological dad and Stepmom just not giving a shit about my little brothers breaking my shit and their house and loosing my games 24/7. I lost multiple games because of them. Just thinking about it makes me angry.
