>>54436124It's because Geeta is the biggest example of missed opportunity in the franchise. It's not like Diantha or Alder, who are just kinda boring. Geeta COULD have been cool but wasn't so it adds to it.
Everyone already knows it but Glimmora REALLY should have been sent out first and King Gambit last. Imagine if you didn't see the leaks or spoilers. The first pokemon the champ would have sent out would be something you would have been guaranteed to never have seen before because Area zero wasn't unlocked yet. Then, when you hit it, it sends out toxic spikes which very little teams would have defense against since you're just playing through the story so you're not equpping heavy duty boots or moves that remove hazards. Then for her last, she sends out an evolution you never would have seen because it has an extremely specific evolution requirement and it gets stronger by being last. You wouldn't even have to change the fact that Glimmora is her ace. She says she's incapable of holding back in battles, so why not have it so she sends her ace out first and uses the tera right away unlike every single leader in the game.
It wouldn't have been a harder fight but it would have been a fun experience. A memorable one at least. Geeta gets hate because she's the biggest indicator Gamefreak just straight up doesn't give a shit about making a fun experience for the player anymore.
