I've found more shinies in SV than I have every single other generation I've played combined. I don't even shiny hunt, I find the whole thing tedious and a waste of time, but they just pop up out of nowhere.

I wonder if they intentionally made the feature really cumbersome so they could sell the solution as DLC
because there's no fucking way they added the photo mode and didn't think there were any issues with how difficult it is to take pics of your own pokemon

My first one was a Mareep outside of Cortando, I found a female eevee at Medei. And a Noibat at Chi Yu's shrine.
All in the span of 4 days.

Was expecting outbreaks to have more shinys.

Yeah I feel you. I've been wanting to take somewhat cinematic shots of my trainer with certain Pokemon with the backdrop of the sunset and beach near Porto Marinara but I could never get it right. You figure they'd take a hint when HGSS did it but no, one step forward, three steps back as always.
