As for Vileplume's Japanese name, Ruffresia (which in itself is a loose romanization of Rafflesia, the name of the plant Vileplume is based on), giving a similar but different Japanese name to this hypothetical regional evolution could be a minor challenge. Ruffdrake, maybe?
