Gen 5 and 7 treated them well. I hoped that they started a trend with odd numbered gen, but gen 9 is beyond terrible.

I wouldn't necessarily say 'terrible': Slither Wing is awesome, Lokix is cool enough and even if Rabsca's face leaves a bit to be desired, it's a great concept.

But, yeah, they never gave as much love to bug types as they did in Gen 5.

Scolipede being “saved” in Gen6 just means that it was only bad for 1 Gen.
Also Galvantula and Crustle had niches due compound eyes/Thunder/sticky web, and shell smash respectively, can’t really call them shitmons
