The Mankey line have been my favorite Kanto fighting types since before SV was released and I slightly prefer Mankey over both of its evos.
I've never cared about the Teddiursa line.

Dudunsparce isn't bad because it's goofy, it's bad because it's boring and lazy as shit and being "goofy" doesn't change that. Dunsparce's evo didn't have to be a "cool dragon" to be good, it just had to stand on its own, be distinct, be anything except literally just be a slightly edited copy+paste of its previous stage. I don't even mind "it just gets bigger" evolutions, but this is worse than that. You can't even tell Dudunsparce and Dunsparce apart from each other if you view them from a certain angle.
By the way, Dunsparce has been one of my favorite Pokémon for years. And that just makes it all the more disappointing that an evolution for one of my favorites that I waited so long to get was so unbelievably underwhelming. It almost feels like mockery how little effort they put into it.
