In the distortion world, why doesn't Cynthia try to reason with Cyrus or atleast try to comfort him and turn him good?

He is clearly suffering right? He is lost and alone and to cope he says humanity doesn't need emotions yet he himself is motivated by emotions.

Isn't Cynthia good? Shouldn't she atleast feel sorry for Cyrus for why he is like this and care for him or atleast try to persuade him to leave the distortion world instead of staying there?

Poor Cyrus.
