I have been shiny hunting a hisuian zorua for the dlc, it has been 5 days and no results using the masuda method.

Also shiny hunting thread, what are you currently hunting to increase your cortisol blood levels?

I got 5 shiny H Zorua over the course of hunting an alpha Oshawott/Dewott (so I could evolve the alpha into regular Samurott in SV) and am still getting more.

Most recent is Duskull in SWSH with Masuda Method. Will transfer it into SV for the DLC. Gonna hunt Poltchagiest but probably not authentic form next, so not hunting till then.
I hunted H.Zorua for the DLC too, I ended up getting a spare one if you want it OP?

I found an Oranguru, Luxray, and my Teddiursa during an Ursaring outbreak using only an Encounter Power 2 sandwich for Normal types

It really is. Shinies are so common in this game that I dunno why people feel the need to make them even easier. I've found 70 with no boosting, most of which took 1-3 hours of hunting. The extreme outliers being 13 seconds and 16.6 hours.

Can't tell you how many encounters I have had since that was lost weeks ago, but it has been 45 days since my Shiny Ralts hunt started in Emerald. Got a shiny lotad on the way, and if I get spook again I hope it is a Wurmple.
