To be honest, going by Khu´s riddle for it, I honestly think it just remains normal-ground, not sure how different the stats will be, maybe slightly slower but more defense since the mud solidified?

Reminder that this thing was supposed to have a middle evo between it and Bergmite. There’s a weird space between their index numbers when they were coded into XY, and their files in the SWSH prototype build have Avalugg internally labeled as “iceberg3” aka a third stager.
