Gen 2 and 4 seem to get along well though that’s probably because of HG/SS that gen.
Gen 7 and 9 tend to get together for some reason which is weird to me since I place place all of 7, 8, and 9 on the same shit stick.
Gen 3 and 2 gets along fairly well. Probably because fans of those gens understand the pain of still loving Pokémon when it wasn’t popular anymore. Not as much as 2 and 4 since gen 2ers seem to still be (rightfully) angry about the removal of various features.
Gen 5 and gen 6 seem to not have any real “friendships” with other gens. both seem to be transitional periods of the franchise. Gen 5 trying to reach an older audience and Gen 6 trying to reach a more casual audience.
