I've played Pokemon games before which didn't struggle with any of these things

I never noticed any bad lag. I played it on a New Nintendo 3ds though

they don't have Z-moves or soulless ultra beasts.
the gameplay isn't constantly interrupted by "cutscenes" and meaningless talking from npcs.
gen 7 doesn't even have a proper champion.
trials are worse than gyms.
subjective, but most gen 7 mons look terrible.

there are more things, but i cba to keep going

Zoomer has never played BW/2 before.
Just because it's sprites doesn't make it not a CS.
