What's the point of adding a 100 extra Pokemon or so when most of them are just going to be shitmons like pic related?

IF Game Freak were competeant, the point would be to buff them so they aren't shitmons anymore, But Game Freak being Game Freak leaves them as shitmons so that people can point an laugh at how worthless they are and the shillmons like CHARIZARD can look better.

I know this is probably bait, but it genuinely kills my interest in playing these games knowing Tangela, Yanma and Aipom aren't in any of the Switch maingames. That's frankly the main reason I still play Pokémon GO.

They do buff shitmon, but extremely minimally. Ariados is a good example of this. They gave him a signature move (Toxic Thread) and a 10+ buff to SpD...imagine how useful that is

Arbok is literally in my top 6 you colossal faggot, I use it in almost every playthrough I get the chance, including the Red playthrough I'm doing right now. Ariados is one of my favorites too, by the way.

Would rather just set one of the Pokémon listed as a starter with the universal randomizer and play a Pokémon game that way. Why should I even use them in the game if I can't catch them before finishing the first eight gyms?
