Terastalization is dependent on the Tera crystals in Area Zero. Hypothetically its entirely possible said crystals could be buried in Unova, especially considering the region is chock full of caves. Wouldn't surprise me if there was one deep down with crystals that had the energy. All you would need is a professor like Sada/Turo to provide the tech to Terastalize and you're good to go.

An exception to the rule doesn’t make it the norm. GF outsourced those remakes and probably wouldn’t let them make DP a Gen 8 game without constantly supervision from GF which is why DP had to follow so closely to DP.
Not saying it wont happen either, just GF has proven that “patterns” mean shit and they’re wild card as fuck for better or worse

They were talking about the crystal lake area in Kitakami here. They are definitely implying Unova will have Tera though since during the DLC Briar talks about making Tera useable outside of Paldea.

Unova does NOT NEED remakes. Gen V games are the most recent and last of the DS golden era, they still hold up to this day by themselves and play well even with the rudimentary 3D graphics.
What Unova needs is either another sequel, to wrap up the trilogy and give both the region and N closure, or a Legends game, which i really want it to happen but nothing points to another Legends game ever being made again yet.

This was never actually stated anywhere in the games or any other official material. The only things that are exclusive to Alola is the totem aura that some pokemon have. It is also the only region where Z-Rings and Z-Crystals can be obtained (since they are pieces of Necrozma)

People just believed it couldn't happen outside of Alola because only the Alola games had the mechanic, and also due to an episode of the anime where it was stated that without the Tapus around it wasn't possible to perform Z-moves. But the latter was later revealed to be wrong, as Z-moves have been shown to work anywhere (such as Kanto, Sinnoh and Galar), as long as the trainer has the a Z-Ring and a Z-Crystal.
