deciding to make a pocket monster based off a cool creature with interesting anatomy and trying to force a humanoid shape onto it. Could have gone for a more sider centaur-like bodyplan and it would have instantly been a more interesting design. Also maybe any other color then puke green.

You mean the Pokemon that can only evolve extremely late game in it's debut generation and therefore has the stats to match? I'd say that's a far cry from a 2 stage Pokemon that evolves at fucking lv. 15.

It should have leaned more into the Ogre Spider aspect, Spidops looks too cartoonish and the "Black Ops" motif just doesnt work here, neither does its butt being that one thing people use to make clothing

I know this is a troll, but I know a LOT of people who seriously think Turner was responsible for the entire Unvoa dex and it scares me to think that people really think that's even possible.
