I mean, i can see them work in Nemona and Arven because Battle-Autism goes with everything and for Arven they can just drop in his other parent or someshit but Penny seems kinda done. And good riddance.

While I think it would be a shame because I love the SV friend group, it would make sense, Nemona only went to explore Area Zero's strong pokemon and she did that already, and she can battle you often, who are even stronger than any paradox pokemon, Penny was doing you a favour and I doubt she wants to be surrounded by such monsters again, and Area Zero is full of bad memories for Arven so he's probably done with the place unless something big happens.

I'm guessing the majority of the DLC will take place in the Blueberry Academy and that the Area Zero stuff will be the finale. So I don't see why they couldn't play a role there before the ending. Especially since there seem to be characters that are similar to the three, like Crispin being a cook as well. I figured he'd be something like a rival for Arven, but that doesn't seem to be the case from what we've seen. Just seems really strange that they make another chef character instead of coming up with something new like an artist or something.

It's 100% the same as the base game, but instead of "you need all three paths finished" it'll be "you need both main quests of the DLCs and Perrin's questline finished".
