Why won't Nintendo ever make a Pokemon MMO like PokeMMO? Does anyone know what the actual reasons are? Do they think people will get burnt out on Pokemon or they'll lose money somehow if they just make a good 2d multi-region mmo? They would most likely make it 3d if they ever even made an mmo, but players want the 2d games back. So, let's just say it would be 2d like PokeMMO and has all regions. It wouldn't be hard for them to get a team to recreate the other regions in 2d, they would probably be better. Let's say the whole game is in Gen 3 GBA style. Why wouldn't they do this?
