It doesn't, it gives a flat tera shard bonus depending on the raid's star rank

5 star raids net you an extra 10, for instance, while 4 stars get you 5, and 6 stars grant you 12 bonus shards.

I only catch a pokedex's mons in their own game but why would it be different if I didn't? I pay for Home, I have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pokemon I've caught by myself, why would I be forced to pretend I don't have those?

If it’s below six stars (and sometimes six stars if the typing/mon is a favorable match up) then making a OHKO build with mons like Iron Hands will take a lot of the grief out of the process.

To be fair, Paldea’s regional dex is pretty large, so between the overlap and high levels (assuming you did this post game), most of Kitakami’s dex is a breeze to fill out.
