Pokemon versions being named after colors is nothing new and fruit/plant motifs when it comes to names is nothing new. Almost every major Pokemon character is named after a plant

Pokemon characters are named after plants in general, but SV and specially the dlc capitalizes on fruits and their colors.
Look at Clavel, it's based on a flower, but he's the director of orange or grape school, no other character from the games is named after redish/purplish fruits either.

Orgtepon and Terapagos is on the future Spectrum because they will be in future games and you will kep being able to catch them in the future, while Yellow and Orange gonna be Mythicals and LOST FOREVER if you miss them.
