What's insane to me about him is his exponentially fast growth, comparable to even the player character. Usually rivals have to level up over the course of an entire journey/game, which is probably like weeks or even months. Meanwhile in a matter of a few days, Kieran levels up his Pokemon to the mid to high 70s range, fully evolves them, gives them good movesets, gives them held items, AND EV trains them. He'd probably be the protag in a universe where Florian/Juliana didn't exist
