Homie literally come the fuck on. It doesn't currently have any connotations of violence in its single dex entry, but just LOOK at the fucking thing. You're not looking at the broader thematic concept here. The idea behind it is CLEARLY that blood moons are a sign of end times and disaster and in popular fiction often is when hoards of zombies and monsters come out, or when animals become violent.

Blood moon Ursaluna clearly IS more violent. No it's not explicitly stated, but you'd be a fool to not pick up on the blood moon = violent killer animals thing.

Absol has like a dozen reasons why it's Dark Type. It is not necessary to literally behave evilly to justify Dark Type, that's just the most straightforward way

Umbreon IS violent, you have been brainwashed by cutesy fan art of it. The dex consistently paints Umbreon as not very nice

The fuck are you on about. It doesn't do shit until Perrin startled it, which most animals react negatively to. If it were a true blood moon crazed animal then you'd see no other pokemon in the area, and if pokemon were mature, you'd probably see corpses all over the woods. Hell it would probably try to maul you before you even can battle it properly.
