Regardless, Cynthia isn’t even the strongest trainer in Unova’s post-game so all this discussion about her ‘potentially except not really’ being stronger than Red is pointless since that incarnation of her isn’t even the strongest.

This is part of why Red is so impressive. His team is not just the strongest in GSC/HGSS, his team is by far and away the strongest in those games - with his team being 30 levels higher than anything else in the game.
